Light, Bright and Minimal London House

This Edwardian house is the home of Architect James MacDonald and his family. It is the result of a year long renovation project. I love the flooring from Dinesen and the roof light in the kitchen is a fantastic idea.

Black and White Swedish Home

The idea of a home thats all black and white sounds quite cold and stark but the owners of this home have managed to create a bright and welcoming space. I loe how they have added subtle hints of colour by way of plants and flowers in every room.

Farrow & Ball 2011 Colour Chart

I received the latest Farrow & Ball Colour chart a few days ago and as always it inspires me to redecorate my whole house in these beautiful chalky colours.

I’m not sure if I like the colours or the names they are given most, here is a selection of my favourite names and colours:

  • Pigeon

  • Eating Room Red

  • French Gray

  • Oval Room Blue

  • Dead Salmon

  • Elephant’s Breath

  • Down Pipe
