Tidy Craft Rooms

I’ve just finished a big craft project, one that ended up in a joint exhibition in our local Art Gallery. Now it’s time to tidy up all the mess I made during my weeks of frenzied sewing and cutting! Not really a fun task so today I have distracted myself by browsing the internet to look at inspiring craft rooms.

Farrow and Ball Colour Inspiration 2012

Some of the rooms ( actually all of them!) are in need of a fresh coat of paint so I’ve been browsing through Farrow and Ball’s 2012 colours for some insipration. Here is a selection of the 2012 colours… I love the pigeon and the incardine combination.

And here is a selection of other colour combinations which I’m liking a lot at the moment:

Gorgeous Grey Walls

I’m really liking the bold use of grey on the walls of this townhouse in Tonsenhagen, Norway.

International Influences makes for a Stunning Swedish Home

I’ve had a bit of an un-intentional blog break, sorry, I’ve been busy with work.  I’m back again now, and had to share this fantastic 1940’s house. The family renovated the property on their return to Sweden after several years abroad. You can see the Australian and British influences in their style. Unusually their laundry room is my favourite room in the whole house!

Inside the Home Holly Becker of Decor8

I have been a follower of Holly Beckers’ Blog Decor8 for a long time, and her recently published book has a permanent home on my coffee table (although this sounds stylish I have to confess that it shares a home with a Lego catalogue and a collection of books about tractors and dinosaurs!) so I was really inspired when I saw some of her latest interior shots of her own apartment in Hannover, Germany.  She claims its a work in progress but I think its looking pretty great already.
