A selection of links to help us all be tidy crafters!

To follow on from my last post (and to continue my avoidance of actually tidying up anything in my workroom) I have gathered together some links to great sites with freebies and downloads for all sorts of things which will help to make your craft room tidier and nicer to work in:

Tidy Craft Rooms

I’ve just finished a big craft project, one that ended up in a joint exhibition in our local Art Gallery. Now it’s time to tidy up all the mess I made during my weeks of frenzied sewing and cutting! Not really a fun task so today I have distracted myself by browsing the internet to look at inspiring craft rooms.

I needed a quick project and found a great hat pattern by Kate Davies called ‘Peerie Flooers’ I loved the bright cheery colours and fresh pattern but I fancied a bold star top to my hat so I combined two patterns together and this is the end result:

Beautiful House…Beautiful Table Settings

I always think that Scandinavian’s and in my own experience Norwegians in particular lay the most beautiful tables for any feast, these images from Marie Friis Blog show some snapshots of her house and demonstrate those beautiful table settings so well. I’m off to source as many jam jars and glass bottles as I can as they make such lovely vases!
